It Couldn't Have Been Any Better

Posting will be a bit light over the next few days as I am in the process of administering and grading final exams. I should have it all wrapped up by Thursday. In the meantime, I'd like to recall two of my favorite country music artists: Johnny Duncan and Janie Fricke. They sang some great songs together back during country music's "Urban Cowboy" era. From 1977, here they are performing "It Couldn't Have Been Any Better":

The show this video is taken from was called "Pop! Goes the Country" - a program that ran from 1974 to 1982 and featured some of the most popular country music headliners of the day. I grew up listening to this stuff and it brings back some great memories.

Johnny Duncan passed away in 2006, but Janie Fricke is still around. Here is her MySpace page. Sixty years old and still a knockout.
