"I've Got a Bracelet, Too!"
Barack Obama's most memorable line from this year's first presidential debate, quoted in the title of this post, will dog him for the remainder of the campaign. Even more so because The One could not remember the soldier's name on the bracelet. That was a major league gaffe that conservatives will not allow him to live down.
Here is the video of that moment, starting with McCain's remarks:
And if that wasn't bad enough, Obama on several occasions had to concede that "Senator McCain is absolutely right," making for this fine, new McCain campaign ad:
As for McCain, here are a few of his memorable lines from the debate:
“I don’t need on the job training, I’m ready to lead today.”
"I don't even have a seal, yet."
“Senator Obama said the surge exceeded HIS wildest expectations. It didn’t exceed MINE.”
Steve H. has it right: Obama kissed the canvas this evening. Question is, will the moronic "swing voters" be smart enough to notice?

This just in from The Weekly Standard: Kissinger repudiates Obama:
Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality. But we're supposed to believe the gasbag pundits and focus group dimwits that Barry O. prevailed. Right.

On a lighter note, here is a short video from Sarah Palin's appearance in the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant:
Mmmm, mmmm good! :)
