Obama the Gun-Grabber

Via Hot Air, here is an eye-opening ad from the National Rifle Association (NRA):



I am a Life Member of the NRA, having joined the organization more than a dozen years ago because I fundamentally oppose any attempts by our government to disarm the American citizenry - such attempts being first and foremost a fundamental violation of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

There is also the stubborn fact that disarming law-abiding citizens only encourages more violent criminal activity. I explained my position on this matter more than a year ago.

Senator Barack Obama should be aware that neither I nor millions of other Americans will ever give up our firearms to the government just so that he and his ilk may feel better. No way, no how.

On the matter of those who characterize any criticism of The One as "racist," Steve H. Graham writes:

no idea. I thought it was a code word for “Democrat."
