As the Left has Sowed...

...so shall they reap.

As I've said today at a few blogs I frequent, if there is any silver lining to be found in Barack Obama's victory, it is that I will be able to simply stand back and point and laugh at The One as he inevitably stumbles in his pursuit to create the earthly paradise he has promised his followers.

It is, however, far more difficult to approach matters with a laconic sense of humor when the first thing one hears at work is a colleague gloating about Obama's win. About 10:00 yesterday morning, after my first class, I was in the faculty lounge at my university when I overheard a fellow professor telling another how just a short while earlier, he had been mocking a couple of Border Patrol officers who were on-campus doing some recruiting, telling the two officers that the war in Afghanistan was about to end and that people like them would be SOL under the incoming Obama administration.

Indeed, that sub-human piece of Bolshevik filth was mocking the very type of people (people like my father: an ex-Marine and retired U.S. Customs officer) that have put and still put their lives on the line so that scum like he may enjoy the freedoms they so cavalierly take for granted. My God, if I didn't need to keep this job I've come to so thoroughly hate, I'd have told that bastard just where he could stuff the nonsense he was spouting. Son of a BITCH.

Speaking of cowards, get a load of this story posted over at Michelle Malkin's blog. It seems that some pusillanimous McCain staffers are spreading smears about Sarah Palin, alleging that the Alaska governor didn't know that Africa is a continent and that she once let some staffers into her suite dressed only in a bathrobe. But her accusers won't identify themselves. What craven curs. Get the hell out of my Republican Party, you damn fairies. At least the lefty smear merchants signed their own names to the BS they were flinging.

Ace of Spades promises, in McCain's words, that of the anonymous staffers "you will know their names and we will make them famous." I certainly hope so.

No, I am not ready to make nice. At all. In my own way, I intend to make the lefties pay for every lie, insult, and smear they threw at President Bush and all normal Americans these past eight years. Not only am I not going to give up the ship, I fully intend to run the ship right up their collective tailpipes. And I'll be laughing all the while.
