Comes the Revolution

The Weather Underground, the communist revolutionary organization dedicated to establishing Stalinist death camps for those Americans who would not submit to Marxist ideology should their movement succeed, hoped that a second American Revolution could be achieved in their lifetime - a full social revolution that would alter this country permanently. Some voters may wonder just how influential the radical leftism of William Ayers and his confederates were upon a young Barack Obama.

Well, wonder no further. The ZombieTime blog has unearthed some eye-opening Weather Underground writings from the Spring 1975 issue of their official newspaper, Osawatomie.


Barack Obama has made much of his experience as a "community organizer" in Chicago. The members of the Weather Underground also placed a high value on "organizing":

Revolutionaries must be organizers.

How might these "organizers" operate?

There are serious antiracist organizers building a revolutionary base in working class communities — in neighborhoods, shops, mills, mines, social institutions. There are those who are working among women, GI’s, vets, prisoners, among youth, students and the unemployed in every part of the country. There are some who have been at it for years and some who have just begun. Thousands more are needed; and each particular piece of work will have to be linked up into a whole. We need to out-organize the sophisticated and well-financed forces of George Meany, Louise Day Hicks, Ronald Reagan, George Wallace and Albert Shanker. Organizers need to crush this reactionary leadership with a revolutionized torrent of people.

Ayers et al., however, warned that it would take a particular character trait for such revolutionaries to be successful:

But revolutionaries expect adversity, expect to be fought every inch of the way by an entrenched ruling class, expect to confront danger and demoralization and overcome it, with creativity and audacity.

Theory and ideology are important tools, and we should make study of Marxism-Leninism an important part of our work.

Audacity...........such as The Audacity of Hope, perhaps?

And if that isn't enough coincidence for you, consider the similarity between the Weather Underground's logo and that of the Obama campaign:


And then recall that the title of Obama's aforementioned book was taken from a speech by Obama's radical, anti-American pastor, Jeremiah Wright, the same Jeremiah Wright who said the following:



Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Democratic presidential nominee: an inexperienced neophyte politician with deep ties to Marxist terrorists and America-haters.

Tomorrow, I hope most Americans will vote accordingly and say: "No, no, no.....not God damn America, God bless America!"
