By now, most of you all reading this are well aware that Barack Hussein Obama has caved to the radical left of the Democratic Party, indicating a willingness to "leave to door open" to the potential persecution of Bush administration officials who authorized severe interrogations of Islamist terrorists, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
Two weeks ago, I posted an entry about how a radical leftist Spanish judge named Baltasar Garzón wants to indict a number of officials from the former administration for the very same reason. One would think that despite differences in political philosophy, a President of the United States would at the very least stand up for his own countrymen and tell any putative foreign inquisitors to get stuffed.
But Barack Hussein Obama is not such a man. In fact, based on his slavish behavior toward foreign potentates like King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and America-hating despots like Daniel Ortega and Hugo Chavez, he is an un-American transnational progressive - dreaming of the day when all the world will exist in love, peace, and harmony. Ain't gonna happen, Barry.
Now in the wake of Obama's stated intent to leave the door open to the political persecution of members of the Bush administration, his fans in the mainstream media are salivating at the prospect of getting their seditious hands on former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who is said to have approved the waterboarding of terrorist Abu Zubaydah back in 2002. If so, then bully for her. And shame on any so-called "American" who would even think of persecuting those who saved the lives of their fellow countrymen over the course of the past eight years.
Tell you what, I'm getting pretty damned tired of these leftist twits acting like they own this country lock, stock, and barrel - presuming to tell those with whom they disagree that they are nothing more than tea-bagging, hillbilly racists - and then compounding that by threatening to criminalize political disagreement.
It's almost as if they want to start a civil war, something I noted in a couple of blog entries last fall. Well if it's a civil war you seditious cretins want, then bring it on. As John Wayne playing Rooster Cogburn in True Grit said, "Fill your hand, you son of a bitch!"
